Becoming a Dance Teacher: What the PXbJ Teacher Training Academy Offers

You've been dancing for years, love motivating others, and are considering teaching yourself? The PXbJ Teacher Training Academy shapes the next generation of dance coaches — wherever you are, no location required.

Who is the Academy for?

For experienced dancers ready to make the move from training to teaching — whether as a side project or a new career path. You don't need a formal teaching qualification, but you do need solid dance experience in at least one of our styles.

What you learn

The training covers far more than choreography: class structure, group management, how to bring different levels together in one class, communication and motivation, how to develop your own coaching identity — and above all, how to build and hold a community.

How it's structured

Workbooks as the theoretical foundation, group coaching for exchange with other coaches-in-training, and 1:1 coaching for individual feedback on your way to becoming a certified PXbJ dance teacher.

What happens next

Trained coaches become part of the PXbJ network — with the opportunity to teach their own classes with us or be put forward for external bookings through our Agency.
